Coastal Landscape

Each of these paintings represents a place in transition. By witnessing these fleeting moments of light, tide, and season, I become a responsive, active participant in my surroundings. The connection I feel with the spaces at these times has less to do with the visual qualities they possess than the expectation of change that they elicit.
